My head is bigger so having the wig be a bigger size was important. Arda has always been my first choice, since Asian manufacturers tend to aim low with smaller head size. VERY thick, I recommend chopping some wefts out if you plan on making the pigtails slimmer.

At first I thought the wig was too small, but it just needed the pigtails to be loosened -- it is actually a bit too large, even on my giant head! XD Keep this in mind when purchasing a Chibi. (I believe Arda now carries a smaller Chibi as well as the standard).

The wig consisted of a Chibi, two hairbuns, and two long ponytail clips. I tied the buns to the Chibi's ponytail's and pinned them just to be safe. This was my first time using an Arda Wig and I'm very pleased with it! The only problem I would have is that the ponytail clips get tangled VERY EASILY!

The chibi is super heavy, but wasn't terrible to work with. I'm a little upset that Arda released a new line of "silky" wigs right after I made this, since those pigtails are super prone to tangles. Oh well. I do love the color, I was worried about too many clashing reds and pinks, but this toned-down pink worked out.

Yeah so about this... we never used the chibi, because the wefts we had purchased for it were pretty awful straight out of the bag, and despite our most valiant detangling efforts, remained that way, so we wound up using a wig from ebay with clip in ponytails and just making the buns by wrapping fiber around the clips.

I've bought two other pigtail wigs (Innocent and off brand) that did not look good at all. Arda's Chibi wig is the best pigtail wig I've come across! The quality is fantastic, it's not too big/small, and it does a good job of hiding the hair underneath.

I was worried as to how the Chibi might fit me because supposedly they run large, but I didn't have a problem. Maybe it's just my amount of hair makes most wigs fit tight--I actually found this one to be more comfortable than most I've worn in the past. I did have an issue with some of my hairline showing at the back, but I think for a wig like this to be perfect you basically need to shave the back of your neck (NEVER AGAIN). I love the combs that come on the wig to help secure it in place, they were really helpful.

I know a lot of my friends have had trouble with the fit of this wig, but my cranium must be big because it fit me just fine and stayed in place all day with very few pins. I wore the pigtails as they came the first time around, but I found that it looked better after taking them down and re-tying them.

Not completely happy with the styling. I wish my pigtails were a little higher and the buns a little bigger (I ran out of wefts though ;_;). Also the pigtails could have been a little thinner!
In the end it was a HUGE trial and error lesson. I'll make another version when I have time.
Also, apparently my head is MONSTEROUS because even ARDA wigs (which are made large) don't fit me. Putting on this wig is a painful two person job, and my hair still sticks up a bit in the back. -
