Personal Thoughts:

Princess Serenity has been on my sewing bucket list for several years. She's beautiful, mysterious, selfless, and saved the universe with the best final battle song blasting in the background! For those that don't know, in the *old* English dub of Sailor Moon by DIC, the two part finale to season one was crammed into one episode, (which gave us the EPIC song, "Carry On") changing the deaths of the sailor guardians to being "captured by the Negaverse". Seeing the series uncut for the first time at age 11 and seeing all of the sailor guardians dying traumatized me. It wasn't until Sailor Moon Crystal was airing that I began to consider cosplaying her, especially since her design is now extremely detailed like the manga. So in 2022 as a reward for finally defeating my brutal endometriosis, I finally decided to make this beautiful gown a reality!!
