About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Fabrics are all from the Joann's casa collection, picked out at the same time to make sure all of the different colors didn't clash! Patterns were a McCall's "Sew-Easy" blouse and a Butterick "Sew-Easy" dress. I patterned out the side slits and added the blue into the side seam. All of the hems are doubled so that no raw edges show through the side slits and on the sheer fabrics! The gemstones are hot glued on. Shoes were a Payless lucky find! My black moon symbol is Model Magic spirit gummed onto my face.

- Styling Notes
- I could go into tons of details, but I'll just say that I followed AntiquityDreams and Heza-chan's tutorials, along with my own ideas here and there! Stubbed pigtails and styrofoam egg odangos for the first time, so I am pleased with my first true styling attempt!
- Wig Review
- I love Arda! I loved the color, it worked well with my skin tone and didn't look cartoony despite being bright pink! The wig was easy to work with, as always with Arda!
