Construction Details:

Used a basic t-shirt pattern and my own drafted collar pattern. The pleated skit is from a school uniform pattern from McCalls. Everything is made out of casa satin and I used bias tape for the collar stripes.

Personal Thoughts:

For as much as I love Sailor Moon, the main character is honestly the hardest one for me to cosplay. Her personality is so drastically different from mine that to try to get the right shot I had to work double time.

Styling Notes

I wanted to do Usagi's signature hair, but not with the hard odango's. After talking with a friend she showed me the method for soft odango's and I thought it was perfect for the school uniform. I sewed on half a pack of long wefts on each pigtail after re-positioning the pigtails higher on my head. I then wrapped the odangos.

Wig Review

The pigtails get SUPER tangled very easy. I have to constantly brush them or braid them to keep them decent past more than one wear.
