Construction Details:

Eternal fuku base make of white moleskin, the rest of the material (red, yellow, navy blue) is cotton sateen. Skirt is gathered and has a horsehair braid stiffened hem. (I will probably redo it and pleat it to get a better effect in the future.) I had a bigger heart broach not shown in the picture, which got lost before the con.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a quick cosplay I threw together for Dragon Con 2013. I would like to make some improvements to it and wear it again someday!

Styling Notes

This wig was quite difficult to style. I stubbed it and made separate heart odangos (with the help of a friend) to go over the stubs. The odango shields are made of worbla and craft foam.

Wig Review

For the most part the wig was great. I love the wispiness around the hairline. However the bangs were set really weird and made them very hard to style.
