Construction Details:

First costume sewn completely on my own! It was very easy since it was cobbled together from different store bought patterns. Someday I'd like to get a shorter petticoat and then shorten the skirt and bloomers to match. The rocking horse shoes were found on ebay with ribbon added by me.

Styling Notes

First we took in the wig and trimmed the bangs. After that we put both pigtails in foam curlers and dipped them in boiling water. Once cool we took the curlers out and let them dry. When they were dry I teased out each ringlet with a wide toothed comb and shaped both sides into puffs.
