Construction Details:

Dress is made of wrong-side-out satin and lined. White trim is a fuzzy flannel/fleece type fabric. Everything else is a cotton blend. Modified a pattern for the dress, used a different pattern for the sleeve base, and freehanded the false shirt, belt and rainbows of the sleeves which were all individually stuffed. Modified a shoe cover with a freehanded extension for the boots, which are stitched down to slippers. Stars in hair and on belt are fimo. Ideally I'd like to re-do the false shirt to go all the way around and attach the sleeves to it instead of the dress, but considering I pulled an all nighter to finish this I'm damn proud of the result.

Styling Notes

Used pigtales as they came & hot glued fimo stars to bows and then hot glued those directly to the wig.

Wig Review

I was worried as to how the Chibi might fit me because supposedly they run large, but I didn't have a problem. Maybe it's just my amount of hair makes most wigs fit tight--I actually found this one to be more comfortable than most I've worn in the past. I did have an issue with some of my hairline showing at the back, but I think for a wig like this to be perfect you basically need to shave the back of your neck (NEVER AGAIN). I love the combs that come on the wig to help secure it in place, they were really helpful.
