I've only been cosplaying since about 2005. My first costume ever was Lady Kikyo for an anime club that I used to go to. It was a pretty simple just modifying of pre-existing items, but I knew I wanted my experience with costumes to grow. Since then, I've attended only 6 conventions but always have a costume planned. If I'm not sewing or working on props, I feel like I'm not being productive enough.
