I love the costumes for Esther in the Trinity Blood manga. And after reading through the series up to date, I've decided I want to make just about every single one of her costumes. So other than Vatican Esther, this was my next project for her series of different costumes. Leon's Esther appears in the second manga only for one chapter; the first time we get to meet Father Leon. The dress is subtitled as "Leon's" because he was the one who bought it for her. Since the manga is only in black and white, I got free creativity for the color of the dress. I came up with five different possibilities and ended up choosing the green in the end. The dress was pretty simple, once I finally found the correct pattern, it was the fur collar that was the hardest part for this. It ended up taking just as long to make as the dress. The collar is removable so that the dress can be washed, and if I wanted to, worn alone.
