This year, Katsucon was located in a new hotel: The Gaylord. It was really beautiful, but becaue of Snowpocalypse, it was really have to get there/covered in snow! (That also meant a little extra time to finish costumes haha) It was still a lot of fun!
Friday: Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai
I also helped my school friend, Kucchi with his Lio costume, so we had a lot of fun Kara no Kyoukai times. I met Spooky Electric during the day, and he did a fantastic photoshoot with us that evening. I also entered the Hall Costume Contest, but didn't win. I changed to Steampunk later that night.
Saturday: Frederic Francois Chopin from Eternal Sonata.
A lot of my friends were doing Eternal Sonata, so I rewore my Chopin costume. I had to leave early due to Chinese New Year though, which was a lot of time spent with my family :)
Sunday: Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai
Pretty laid back. I rewore Shiki, and helped take pictures of my friends in Zombie Loan.
Overall, great time in cosplay. The setting was gorgeous, and I had a good time with my friends. However, there was a really bad atmosphere during the con, which made me feel very sick. Also, there were no good panels/events/guests.
