Construction Details:

Cosplay is self-made and crown is the work of a friend. A note on the design, the CD cover isn’t very specific as to how the bottom of the outfit looks like so I studied several fanarts/cosplayers to decide on what to do. Luckily, I found that amazing stripped fabric for the pants and I went with puffy pants (and sleeves). Also, I am wearing golden contacts in this picture even though they don’t show much.

Personal Thoughts:

So far, I have to say it is one of my favorites to wear. Very comfortable albeit slightly hot for Texas weather. If you are wondering about “Delic” and “Hibiya” and why you haven’t seen them in the anime or the novels, the reason is because they are both designs for CD covers. Izaya’s song is Subarashii Hibi (Hibi + Izaya = Hibiya) and Shizuo’s design comes from the Shizuo version of Psychedelic Dreams. The Japanese fandom has taken these versions and given them their own personalities… sort of like alternate versions of Izaya and Shizuo.
