Construction Details:

This costume was a process of several parts. I broke it down easier to tackle parts and took them all on and put the costume together. I used one pattern (Simplicity), and did the shoulder thingie and sleeves without a pattern's guidance. All the fabric came from Jo Ann Fabrics.

Personal Thoughts:

The reference image shows Natla with large wings, spanning 12 feet wide and two feet taller than the wearer. They are not included in the photos because of the unreasonable size they take on. They worked perfectly during the planning stages of this costume, but they rapidly became too tall to get through any doors of this house. And the wings must be put on prior to the costume, and indecent exposure in public is a crime... so I was faced with the tough choice of leaving them off. I hated to do it, but there wasn't really a choice. So bear in mind the costume was intended with wings about maybe I'll get more creative later on and find a way to have them anyway.
