Construction Details:

I had no intentions of ever doing this costume. While shopping for fabric one day I saw the perfect pattern for this shirt and the perfect fabric. I picked it up and the costume sorta came shortly after. The hardest part about this costume was, believe it or not, picking the style. It was nearly impossible to find a "perfect" reference picture! The costumes in game/ screen shots/ character art, CG, TR: Legend's flashback, and then the 10 year Anniversary version are all different. Edios left a huge window of character designs that would be a nice Lara. For my ultimate design for this costume, I combined looks from all the TR games. I call her "traditional" or just "Last Revelation" version just to keep it simple! TR 1/ Anniversary- Lara's hair is in an "upside down bun" as I call it. The hair is folded downward and then braided. I used that style for my hair. TR 2/ TR 3- The long braided hair... needs no further elaboration. TR: Last Revelation - The back of her shirt showed some of her back and the front was similar to a tank top. TR: Angel of Darkness - The holsters were finally showed to hook and attach to her belt vs. default attached. I stuck with this design for the holsters.
