Construction Details:

This costume was done in two major parts: the strapless dress, and the off the shoulder jacket. I've been asked about nine times how it stays on. The jacket straps are kept by elastic. I added a little more in the ways of jewels to the sleeves and to her cuffs. I've seen too many versions of this dress so it was interesting to get to design what I think colors should look like. I did a head dress sorta, using the traditional Aerith bow, but I used the feather in it too. This costume didn't take hugely long to make, but it was interesting to get all the aspects of it to work together and make something hopefully pleasing to the eye.
