For the past 4 years, I have been looking for Shiki (Togainu no Chi)'s crosses. (I saw it one year in the dealer's room, but figured they'd have it at the convention that followed the next month, but I was very very wrong). So finally, I found one of the crosses at Wal*Mart! Excited about this development, I told GunBlazeEX about my quest to find the crosses, and what the other one looks like. That very same day, he found me the exact cross that I needed at the Halloween store! So I decided to finish up what I had of the costume in a day.
FRIDAY:
I got a chance to chill around with GreatSG, which I rarely get to do. And then I worked for most of the convention, and didn't really get to see or do much. Friday, I just worked while wearing Hazama, hanging out with another worker dressed as Guile. Spent the longest time in the game room than ever before (they had Beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD! I was so excited to see that they had Blind Justice! :D Even more excited to actually see a Matin cosplayer that weekend!)
SATURDAY:
I worked some more. I ghetto'd my sister an awesome Akira costume, so we lol'd around in Togainu no Chi. That night I finally attended one of GreatSG's panels (each year, something crazy happens so that I can't attend his panels -- friends having serious heart/health problems, panels at the same time, having to talk to panel directors for an hour and a half because we don't have a projector, and I don't even know what else). Great times had by all
SUNDAY:
Worn a totally ghetto Hazama alt color, because I didn't want to wear a serious costume. I had an awesome discussion with a random con-goer about Lush Cosmetics :D. My friends were fabulous as One Thousand and One Nights, and I helped them to get some photos throughout the day. I saw The Clockwork Dolls in concert, despite the poor acoustics, it was fantastic.
It was a very hectic and crazy weekend!
