About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
White button up, pants and hat were all bought. I actually had bought a hat that matches the fabric of my jacket, with only a slight shade difference. Jacket is fully lined...and even has a back seam in the lining like the sprite work. Buttons were mostly collected off my Chopin costume since I wanted the Continuum Shift decorative buttons. Belts were bought by one of my lovely Ragnas, and it somewhat matched my gloves with, again, a slight difference in shade. (I lucked out with the pants - I just happened to have dress pants with huge belt loops. I always thought it was stupid, but now I have the perfect use for them!) Chain is borrowed off my sister hahaha.
***** Extra Special Thanks to KitsuneCagalli for help finding the belts, and GunBlazeEX for help finding the belts/the wig/putting up with me/EVERYTHING! I love you guys so much~ - Personal Thoughts:
- Hazama was a very interesting character to do. I was originally stuck with the character because I wanted to be one of the main boys...but they were all taken already, so I agreed to MJ here. I didn't even really care about the character until a month before the convention, in which it hit me like a train and I really fell in love with his character, his outfit, his attitude, his smooth criminalness. So I worked so really hard on the costume to try and get it the best I could. And at the convention, all the other Hazama cosplayers were SO nice, it was really shocking! And whenever I went to any other BB cosplayers to be an in character jerk, they all played along too! It was so much fun! (I made the costume mostly based off the promotional artworks and sprites from Continuum Shift, so I opted to put it in the CS category and not CT)
