I've been sewing costumes for over twenty years. Mostly I'd been interested in historical costumes, but as I started attending sci-fi conventions in college, I became interested in sci-fi/fantasy costuming as well. When I also became an anime fan, I wanted to start recreating some of the beautiful costumes I saw onscreen. I did this very badly at first, but I'm constantly getting better. I also still do historical costuming for dancing and for fun. I am constantly in the process of getting better photos and brushing up the details on my older costumes.
