Construction Details:

Crafted from various fabrics with the help of a tailor friend. The costume was created for Singapore's 2nd Annual Cosplay Chess in 2012, where Shakespeare was a chess player on the board.

Shakespeare's tome was created by hand, and affixed with an LED light as well as a hidden compartment for various gimmicks.

It was also debuted at a community based cosplay competition, and received a prize.
