Post by Silentredemption » Mon Sep 22, 2008 11:48 am

I was wondering, i want to be toadette for anime boston, but i have NO IDEA how to make the costume or even where to begin. The hat i have terriable trouble with. any suggestions?

I was also wondering if there was a site or store that you can ask them to make it for you and pay them? and what site would be the best?

Well you can advertise in here at the Commissions page, or on other cosplay sites. Also remember to include a reference picture and always check a commissioners body of work. See if they have reviews and if it doesn't seem right don't do it.

I have seen people make the costume using a Harem( Poofy ) Pant pattern, a vest and a big poofy hat. Is that the kind of thing your looking for?

you can probably find the dress and vest patterns pretty easily. I have an idea for the hat...ya know those Russian winter hats, i think they r called ushankas. anyway, get one of those and wrap some thick material around it to make it bigger. then cover it with the pink and white material.
hope i helped :-)
