Does anyone know what would be good for getting a long wig to stand up?

It usually does work wonders but I was asking which character because sometimes, a wig really does just need a more hardcore lifting substance to make some of those gravity defying pieces.

Actually, if it's a synthetic wig, try using spay lacquer. You'll never be able to un-style the wig, but if you do it in fine coats, it will still look natural, and keep the weight down. Every time I've used hairspray, the weight the spray adds seems to negate the lifting properties, which is why I use a spray lacquer (like for refinishing woodwork!)

They are asking who the wig is for (like what character) so they can see what you mean by "stand up" so just tell us who you are cosplaying!
