Yuna's Summoner Rod help

Yuna's Summoner Rod help

Hi, I'm making Yuna's summoner costume for maybe megacon or jacon, and I want to try to make the rod too. I'm using COS-Show's instructions to make the outfit (helped big time and made it sound alot more simple ^^)
but I need alot of help with the rod. I don't want to commision it, but I would need instructions (step by step would be awesome) or advice..

and I also wanted to ask if anyone had an actual size trace of the main shape of the top of the rod or if they could tell me what picture they used as reference to cut it out :) and I don't have any power tools or special saws or anything like that to use so I don't know if I can even make it. any help would be very appreciated, thanks!

if you use wood, go with a very sturdy type, Pine is good and lightweight but it'll break if stretched too thin. Jigsaws are my favorite too, and after that, you can sand it down to give it a curve.

For size issues, pose just like her and grab a rod. now put a 50% transparent picture of Yuna over you and now you can mark the rod. you don't need to be perfect, and this is an easy way.
