I need help

Post by wildheart9823 » Sat Dec 02, 2006 10:36 am

I'm trying to make my own version of Inuyasha's kimono, but I have no patterns to follow, so plz tell me what to do

Here's a picture of what I want made, but minus the sword, necklace, and the hair wig(cause I already have the necklace, and I don't want the sword or the wig): http://www.mangadicto.com/Images/inuyasha.gif

Well, if you can't find a pattern, you can always make one yourself. Just break the costume down to pieces., like the sleeves and the hakama are like triangular pieces of fabric and it is pretty easy to work out the rest.

Though, I am pretty sure there are tutorials online, if I find any, I will let you know ^_^

This link is for a doll's costume, but it gives a great general overview of the costume. You can see the shapes of the pattern pieces you'd need to make, and it's mostly rectangles so it's not too hard.
