When i make something i get the sewing right, its just always too small, i use my measurments, i event use extra fabric, it just wont fit! Does anyone have a pattern or anything that could help?THANKS!!!

New to sewing: I NEED HELP
Hi, i am new to sewing with a sewing machine. i know how to use it, i can do the different stiches, i can attach the different tools, I JUST CANT MAKE CLOTHS RIGHT!!! When i make something i get the sewing right, its just always too small, i use my measurments, i event use extra fabric, it just wont fit! Does anyone have a pattern or anything that could help?

Hi. ^^ Maching sewing is pretty nice -- makes things go faster.
You should definitely get some simple patterns to start with like pull on shorts and easy shirts that don't have a lot of pieces (front, back, sleeves). Patterns are usually marked easy, medium, or difficult, and most times you can tell just by looking at them whether they'll be painful to make or not. When you begin making an item, take a good look at the pattern pieces, and you'll start to see what makes clothing fit right: how big the fabric cut needs to be compared to the finished item, areas that are larger or smaller, curves that go this way or that, etc.
Once you've practiced a bit, you'll be able to make all sorts of clothes and costumes. ^_^
