Construction Details:

I would have never finished this costume without Misotosoup's help... This costume was finished the night before the actual shoot! I had the wings done awhile before the shoot so luckily we didn't have to go through the pains of making them the same night as the costume... Because the costume was finished...(Read More) the night before, there was a lot of parts to the costume that were ghetto'd... For example the vest and shirt were actually too big for me (I didn't bother trying it on until I had to wear it for the shoot..Stupid me) so my friend had to quickly tack the parts that needed to be fitted. I never made holes in the vest and shirt so that my wings can go through so I just stuck the wings in between the vest and shirt so it was dangling between the two layers of fabric orz!
I'm not really happy with the wings also because I wired it wrong so the wings drooped down instead of being completely straight. I think the feathers I got played a huge factor though because I couldn't afford the normal large feathers so I had no choice but to buy the smaller and cheaper feathers which added a lot of weight to the wings. The smaller the feathers, the more space you have to will which means the heavier the wings are. I have to remember that next time Q_Q!

Styling Notes

I only had one wig to use for both Rin and Len so I had to cut the bangs in a way where I can style it for both characters! I could have made my life easier by buying two wigs but I was on a tight budget...

Wig Review

I personally like the wig more for Len than for Rin. It's a little thin and too flared out for Rin.
