Construction Details:

The top was purposely made oversized like Puchiko's. It's double layers of white broadcloth fabric. The collar is blue quilting cotton with white ribbon making the stripe. There is a small section at the neck that snaps open and closed. The green tie is sewn on under the collar and made with a faux...(Read More) knot. The bloomers are made extra full and a small petticoat is worn underneath to keep them poofy. The ears, tail, and feet are made from a soft yellow fleece and the brown stripes are pieces of felt. The tail is attached to a belt, based around a wire hanger, stuffed with batting and comes through an opening in the back seam of the bloomers. The top of the big back bow has wire sewn into the seams to keep it's shape. Originally, I used my real hair but I have also used a wig, which is easier to style the antennae. The little jingle bells are tied onto elastics.
