Construction Details:

The leotard is the same one from my previous Pluto costume, but updated! The ribbons on the collar and all the snaps are hand sewn. I chose a taffeta for the bows (as did my friend as Saturn!) because it gives this really nice red AND black sheen which was perfect since the bows are always changing...(Read More) in artwork X__X The earrings aren't pictured here well, but I am so so proud of them! They were made with shrinky dink, and I hand colored the red to black gradient~ My staff is made out of a thin pvc pipe, expanding foam, tape and paper mache! I tried using some plaster to add sturdiness, but it totally cracked off :(. Oh, and it was so hot at the con that my red orb that goes in the heart top completely shattered D: D:!

Personal Thoughts:

I finally finished it! I still want to fix some thing here and there, but at least its completely sewn together this time around XD
