Construction Details:

I made the body suit (which honestly wasn't that bad), and evalime helped me out by making the helmet. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have even attempted to cosplay Celty~



Eventually gathered a group photoshoot so I busted the scythe out the night before the shoot with a PVC pipe,...(Read More) cardboard, some duct tape, and black spray paint. It was... huge and I had to pack it awkwardly into the car since I didn't account for how to pack it (I ended up breaking the blade in two spots) but it seemed to look alright in pictures. There was no way to take it back home and store it in a good place so I ended up tossing the blade right after the shoot. ^^;;

Personal Thoughts:

I love Durarara!! almost as much as I love Baccano!... almost. And I don't know how I managed to cosplay the two mute characters from each series (Chane Laforet and Celty Sturluson), but dat's coo'. <s>I hope to get the entire group together for a photoshoot one day!!</s> Got my group pictures and I'm forever garbling at how cool we look~ ;;3;;
