Construction Details:

The shorts are made of orange twill using McCalls pattern 5391, and the top is yellow polyester. I found some really cute daisy trim at Joanns, and although it’s totally not accurate, I think it fit well with the costume.

My shoes are white tennis shoes from Walmart that I painted yellow and...(Read More) orange. The daisy on the front of my shirt is a large pin made from wood. The crown is made from craft foam and plastic gems and more craft foam for details, and the earrings are made from craft foam as well. I knew a real golf club probably wouldn’t be allowed at a con, so I just took a dowel, shaped a head out of model magic around one end, then spraypainted it silver.

Styling Notes

I planned this PortConMaine because I thought it would be a good summer costume. It was in the mid 60s and rainy all weekend.
