Greetings I'm Ron Cauvin, I have been Cosplaying and taking pictures of other Cosplayers since 2009. I'm still new to the Anime / Cosplay World so please keep that in mind. I have been a photographer most of my life so I have plenty of experience. I wish to showcase the pictures of Cosplayers that I have taken at 6 Conventions so far and ones from conventions in the future. I have gone to Youmacon 4 times and JAFAX twice. My first Cosplay convention was Youmacon 2009. I wore an Original Star Trek Uniform that day and many people and other Cosplayers wanted to take pictures of me which I was at first surprised about and then very happy about. The new Star Trek Movie had come out in theaters just a few months before the con so I believe that added to peoples interest in my Cosplay outfit. Their were about 50 pictures taken of me that day. I also took pictures of other Cosplayers. The ease at which other Cosplayers posed for me was amazing and I got excited because I never had the opportunity to take pictures of willing subjects before so I became hooked on taking pictures of Cosplayers. Since my first convention I have become friends with other Cosplayers and one of them has given me help in taking better pictures of Cosplayers. I hope that you enjoy the pictures that I post and please comment on the pictures either by sending me a message or posting a comment on a picture in one of my albums.
