About this Costume
Construction Details:
I took some liberties to incorporate some design elements from her blue maiden dress from A Link to the Past since her Echoes design reminded me a lot of it. I really like the idea of the belt and separate bodice top, it brings the design together and gives it a more realistic look from her cute squished chibi self.

I cut and styled the wig and also made the crown. Everything for this outfit was to take the proportions from the game and translate it to real life. I had to apply that same thinking to the Tri Tod. It was made fully by me from 3D modeling to printing and finishing. I elongated and thinned out the middle and the swirl shapes to give it an elegant look. Also, when Zelda holds the Tri Rod upright, you can see it's almost more like a staff. It's quite big in comparison to herself, but I wanted to find a nice comfortable balance and I feel that I succeeded and love how it turned out.

The paint was something I wanted to really put a lot of work into. Tri is not a being of the regular world so I wanted to give the rod a sort of otherworldly finish. I mixed all the colors myself and applied it with an airbrush. The gradient was painstakingly airbrushed with three different color mixtures.
Personal Thoughts:
I love Echoes of Wisdom, and getting to play as Zelda is wonderful. I'm glad I decided to make this, it's such a fun and comfortable costume to wear.
