Construction Details:

The costume's pattern on all the items were completely designed and drafted by me. Top and bottom have a matching lining and all of the piping was hand sewn in, including for the glove and boots. It took quite a while. The glove's pattern was purchased from AlchemicalCosplay on instagram, and also hand sewn together. I find that just items that need smaller stitches work better by hand than struggling with my machine foot to work with it. The boots were Steve Madden brand I had purchased off Amazon and cut and painted to my style. Pretty simple!

The belt and holster/pouch was patterned by me as well and built out of a base of cardboard and covered in leather. I really like that I went with a holographic material for the belt to give it a bit more shine.

As for the belt buckle, bag buckle, butt disks, arm band and gun those items were casted by DangerousLadies. I had reached out to them with patterns and measurements and they were more than gracious to let me commission the work from them! The wig was also something I knew needed to be done RIGHT. So I had reached out to xHeeHeex on instagram to also commission her for the work! It's better than I had hoped for in color and structure! And it works perfect with my headband.

Personal Thoughts:

Wow! I have loved the OVA and movies for Dirty Pair for years, older anime just speaks to me! I made this variation of Kei based on the Project Eden coloring of Silver with black piping, rather than the OVA shows of white with red. I'd love to make that style as well one day, but for now I'm happy to celebrate this completion. I started her in 2019, and then due to various circumstances she was finally finished this year. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have!
