Construction Details:

I modified an organza jacket, cropping it shorter and replacing the original knit trim with a metallic blue spandex I bought. I made the leg strap as well as the Chaldea symbols on the zipper and choker, which were done with holo pvc layered on top of hand cut craft foam.

Personal Thoughts:

FGO's 6th anniversary 5* craft essence art was so fun, I knew I had to cosplay that new Gudako design! The colors are so bright and cheery, definitely evoking feelings of summer. I also knew that large cosplay manufacturers would not pick up the design so that I'd have to make it myself, and thought it would be a good way to get back into light sewing after not doing much cosplay for a year+ due to covid lockdown.
