Construction Details:

The skirt is silk tussah which I dyed with acid dyes. It has eight panels which are knife pleated and hemmed by hand. The petticoat is made of poly taffeta and uses the same pattern as the skirt for the over layer, and a three tiered skirt for the under layer.

The sleeves are based on a basic sleeve pattern with a lot of volume added. I drafted the cuffs myself. They are layered silk charmeuse and crinkle chiffon, which I also dyed myself. The sleeves are built into a corset with back lacing. The cuffs close with fabric covered buttons and thread loops. The piping on the cuffs was made with the extra skirt fabric.

The bodice is silk velvet from Prism Silks. It is steel boned and closes with snaps. I did the embroidery and beading by hand on a backing of layered cotton and tulle. The embroidery template was purchased from EveilleCosplay.

The 3D prints for the armbands and headdress are also by EveilleCosplay. I did a filler coat, wet sanded, base coat, then Rub n Buff, with turquoise acrylic paint for the accents. The armbands have elastic glued inside as well as some felt pieces to help them stay in place. To wear the headdress I just fashion tape the center piece onto my forehead lol. There is a chain extending back which is pinned into my hair.

Styling Notes

Took apart for wefts which were glued to stuffed felt forms for the hairpiece. The two pieces are sewed to a thin plastic headband along with some metal combs.
