nMade the headband completely from scratch! I pulled apart a bunch of fake flowers and reconstructed the large pink flower petal by petal. Then I inserted a Bunch of wires into the center, gluing seed beads to the tips. I then coated them thickly in gold metallic enamel paint to fill in the hole of the beads...and voila! A flower center! Then the flower was handpainted to mimic the game. The smaller pink gradient flower was put together with 4 petals I shaped and then painted. Similarly it features a wire center with pearls. All the kanzashi flowers were made by me with cotton I had on hand (in hindsight, I would have preferred ribbon for a bit of sheen!). The gold metal fringe was made from Thibra and jewelry rings, so it's nice and light but looks like metal!
