Construction Details:

This was a dress for a general renaissance faire wedding for a mother of the bride so she wanted something period but not difficult to wear. We picked an Italian dress shape and then made it one piece with modern conveniences like built in pockets, bc zipper and attached faux chemise trim.

Personal Thoughts:

This was for a client and I think it was a good middle ground between historical and easy to wear with lots of fun details
