Construction Details:

Basically it is a blue bathing suit with corset where I painted half to be red and added blue piping. The star and mask were made out of simple craft foam, paint and rhinestones.

Shield went through various stages made and formed EVA foam into the basic shape of the WWII shaped shield. It was covered in fiberglass resin, sanded and painted. It went thru two different pain jobs, one just covered in red and blue pain because I was running out of time at that moment and the second was the final look of the shield.

Personal Thoughts:

I absolutely love Captain America and it was natural that I would eventually cosplay something inspired by him. Thus we got a female Captain America with a pinup inspired look since I loved the look of the WWII shield better. There have been times that I wore jeans and didn't feel like a true pinup and times that the shield went thru various stages of paint.

This is a simple cosplay that I enjoy being the character and has been worn at multiple events.
