About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
The main dress was made from a modified McCall's M7624 pattern. This pattern already had slits in the sleeves, so I just added eyelets along the edges and threaded cording through them to create the look of Giselle's sleeves. In addition to the more obvious modifications needed to match the character, I also modified the dress pattern to include pockets, as I consider that a must in just about any cosplay!
The corset was made from a heavily modified Simplicity 8626 pattern. The cording is purely cosmetic and the corset closes via hook and eye tape hidden in the back, in order to create a visually accurate but comfortable corset.

- I adore Giselle and knew as soon as I experienced this game that I would have to cosplay her. Her kindness, optimism, loyalty, resilience, and love are inspirational to me. And her outfit provided some fun new challenges for me!

- Wig Review
- This wig looks great and is easy to style, but can interfere with peripheral vision.
