Construction Details:

I used yellow vinyl-esque fabric for the base of the shorts and top. I made my own bias tape for the lining of the top. The straps were also sewn into the shorts. The blue pieces are made from clay.

Personal Thoughts:

Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorite animes of all time and Faye is definitely a very special character for me. This is the first costume I made from scratch also so it meant a lot to me.
Last year at Anime NYC I wore Faye on Sunday and I met someone who brought their corgi, and we ended up getting a lot of pictures together, one of which ended up on a popular "dogspotting" group.

Styling Notes

This wig needed minimal styling. It was fairly thick and no wefts were showing. I just combed it and then sprayed a little bit of hairspray to set it and minimize flyaways.
