Construction Details:

Jacket and dress are thrifted and altered by me. Trim and other details are also sewn on by me. This was the first cosplay I got to use my inherited sewing machine for. I'm still fairly new to sewing, but it was fun even just making smaller changes to base pieces to make it look like the character's.

Personal Thoughts:

I watched this anime the first time when I was in middle school and ooohboy did that make an impression. I rewatched it a year ago and was reminded of how amazing Misato was, and that as I was now closer to her age, she is definitely someone I'd aspire to be like.
