Construction Details:

Took three weekends of non-stop sewing to complete - I used a Simplicity Pattern and 3D printed the crown. Colorless, the crown was then spray painted gold with holes in the sides to allow gold colored hairclips to pass through and hold it to the wig.

The wig was a cheapo from Amazon, and now that I know about got2B spiking gel and hairspray I think I'd have to modify it.

Personal Thoughts:

This was the first time I've sewn a dress this complicated before. There were some ups and downs, but ultimately I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

The dress was originally for a Halloween event at work, but I fully intend to use it for Cons.
