Construction Details:

We used a stretchy fabric for the base dress and sewed it using a McCalls pattern. The apron and headband patterns were drafted by me. We top-stitched glitter ribbon on top (made sure to interface the bottom). Ruffles on the edge of the apron are hand-gathered with a 2:1 gathering ratio. The bow pattern was from the sailor fuku tutorial by Cosmic Coterie. We used a total of about 9-10 yards of glitter ribbon!

Personal Thoughts:

This costume combines both my love for Sailor Moon and maid cafes.
