Construction Details:

This cosplay consists of two parts--the shield and armour. Most of the armour is made out of EVA foam. The knee and ankle pieces, however, are covered with a piece of wonderflex to facilitate kneeling poses. Shoes are regular shoes covered with foam and pleather to maximize movement and comfort.

The shield base is a big plastic disc that was originally a Captain America shield. It has been covered with EVA foam with details sculpted from black worbla and Lumin's foam clay. Each cross is constructed out of EVA foam mats and connected to the shield base with industrial strength velcro. The emblems are sculpted out of clay with the gem casted with resin

Personal Thoughts:

This has been my most ambitious project to date. Every part can break down into smaller pieces to fit in a car for transport. The shield is a total of 5 pieces--one for each side of the cross, with the centre being one piece. The armour is fairly mobile, allowing for standing, sitting, and kneeling on smooth ground with minimal creasing. The shield stands around 5 feet tall when put together to allow ease of posing. This cosplay can be modified to include first and third ascension in the future.

Styling Notes

Just spray and sometimes some tacky glue for the ahoge. Bangs are cut with sharp fabric scissors.
