Construction Details:

I purchased this cosplay from Bodyline, size 2XL. Heavy alterations were made. I bought a 2XL so I'd have enough fabric. I shortened the skirt, took in the bodice, re-gathered the skirt and made the bonnet from the fabric I but off. All black fabric was removed and replaces with green. I ended up doing so many alterations that I should have just bought fabric instead. But This cosplay was on sale for $20 and fabric would have cost me a lot more.
nRoses were made with a pink lining fabric and used a candle to gentle melt the edges so they wouldn't fray. I hand sewed the roses on, except for the one on the shoes. I used clip on earring as shoe clips so I could remove the roses, and use the shoes plain.

Personal Thoughts:

I always loved the outfits of Rozen Maiden, the lolita and doll style was beautiful to me. I'm quite small (4"10) so I always get complements on my doll size, and pale skin. I hope one day I can do an elegant photo shoot with Shiknu
