Construction Details:

I did a technique known as reverse applique for all of the gold detailing on this costume. I then went around each of the applique circles with a technically called "couching". It took me 6 months to do all of the couching, making this one of the costumes that took me the longest amount of time. I used a combination of worbla and a new thermaplasic called Cosplate to create the armor pieces. I did hours of hand beading and added hot fix rhinestones just to give a little bit of an added bling to an already over the top costume. Overall I've worked on this costume for 9 months and over 400 hours.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted a challenge...and I found it with this costume.
