Construction Details:

Red dress from modified simplicity pattern, and lots of white bias tape. head band bought at Neo Tokyo in Manchester, NH, wig from AJ's wigs in Hooksett, NH
The shoes are an old pair of sandals with a cut up navy sock sewn to the soul.

Personal Thoughts:

I have wanted to do this costume for a long time. The fabric is not right as well as a few other details, like the hair is bright pink! It came in way to bright but I did not have time to change it before the convention. Some people told me they liked that I had the bright hair, that it just exaggerated the point that this was a cartoon. I would have liked a not so in your face pink. So I hope to do it this one over some time.
