Construction Details:

For the dress, I altered an existing bodice pattern and created my own skirt pattern. The fabric used is a Firenze matte satin from Fishman's in Chicago. Both skirt layers have horsehair in the hem, and the bodice is also fully lined and boned. The dress closes in the back with an invisible zipper.
