My Twitter feed has step by step updates as it progressed:

Otherwise this was my first go at a bikini from nothing. I used activewear spandex lined with tricot for the materials, and trimmed it with orange fold-over elastic. The material ended up being a little thin, so I added some triangle cups into the top for support and coverage.

The hat was a modified straw hat I got at work for a good deal, cut and edged to allow for the ears to fit in and then be removed if there's not enough space for that big floppy hat!

Since there are several variations on the costume, between the figure and the art, I tried to blend them into one and ended up creating this powermesh white top to stand in for what I assume is a perma-wet t-shirt. I love it, it's so soft and putting the embroidery fox heads on it was much easier than I thought it was going to be.

The shoes are espadrilles I own (and are very comfy) but I haven't worn them in nearly a year, so instead of buying new ones, what better final purpose could neglected shoes hope for? The stars are wooden craft stars.

Accessories, etc were model magic or made with resin and silicone molds (a new skill for me!)
Personal Thoughts:
Another Tamamo, perfect for the beaches of California! I love my girl and this will involve beachwear, embroidery, and faux fur- my fave.

Princess Dark Pink
Styling Time
approx 1 hour
Wig Quality Rating
4 / 5.00
Styling Notes
I already owned this wig from my Strawberry Sakizou, so I re-cut and styled the bangs, and brushed and low heat flat ironed the curls out to make it more "beach waves" and less ringlet curls. I love it.
Wig Review
Only complaint is that after styling the wig looks a bit shiny and fake, but some product fixes that well enough. The fit is good and its very thick for a medium length wig.
