Construction Details:

The dress is made from polkadot quilter's cotton and white shirting, with boning in the lining for a smoother fit. I used a princess-seamed party dress pattern as a base and lowered the neckline and the back to get the right look. Though the dress in the manga is a mini, I ended up keeping the length of the original pattern, which is a lot more flattering on me.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm kinda hooked on making Usagi's manga outfits now! ^^;; I started this dress for Anime NYC but didn't get it done in time, so I finished it for Katsucon. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, especially how it fits. :)
