Personal Thoughts:

I've always related to Velma Dinkley. Smart, a little bit of sass, but also shy and quiet at times. Plus, she and I are both blind without our glasses, so it made perfect sense to cosplay her.

Our work was having a costume contest this year and allowed the employees to dress up on the condition that it had to be tasteful. I decided to go as Velma since at the time I was the front desk receptionist for a company, and it seemed like a work appropriate costume. I brought in Halloween treats in a Scooby Snax box made out of a Milkbones dog treat box and everybody loved it! All the snacks got eaten, and my work liked it enough to give me the prize at work: a $15 gift card.
