Construction Details:

Despite the simple look of the costume, overall it was decently difficult to build due to a bunch of technicalities.

The corset bodice is mounted with a bomb bra to allow for a more pronounced silhouette while being boned thoroughly. The high cut helps as if it wasn't cut to the true waist, I wouldn't have been able to bend.

The feathers or shapes on the shoulders we went with a more organic boa trim as it looked more flattering and hid the elastic thread underneath better to allow for more free movement.

The bats were stenciled and airbrushed on. Head wings were made with magnets to attach to a hairband worn under the wigs to allow for seamless transition.

Boots were built over ankle booties for consistency and shape. Went for a shorter version to give a more elongated look to the legs.

The wings were made to be mounted to the lacing on the bodice at the back and will hold without any help. They can be rotated for position changes as well.

One of my more fun costumes, sadly many people asked me who I was which proves how classic this is when younger cosplayers don't know Morrigan TwT;;
